Big props to SdZ for compiling this video footage from the great success that was our launch party @ The Volkz in Brighton back in May! (Some pics are on their way)
We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all that came down and supported the night, the number of heads through the door was excellent and more importantly the vibes and tunes all night were spot on! We are currently planning to host further label partys in the near future in the Brighton and Luton areas, we will keep you updated on more info soon!
Over in the Narukami camp since the launch party we have been busy working on some new material that we aim to release towards the end of the summer. Keep an eye (and your ears out) for our DEBUT E.P featuring some of the heavyiest offerings yet from our artists!
We have also been working towards Version 2.0 of the Narukami Records website that we intend to have up and running very soon which will see a new look and various updates. As always WATCH THIS SPACE FOR MORE INFO!
In the meantime you can download and enjoy the following recordings of recent DJ sets from Seizmic and KzA recorded at Ribstep @ The Edge, Luton 20/06/09 at the links below.

Very special guest on the night is none other than ‘Blame’.
Having already made a big name for himself with his hit on ‘Moving Shadow’ called ‘Music Takes You’. Blame has since carved a long and successful career releasing tracks on most of the major Drum & Bass labels over the years including ‘Metalheadz’, ‘Hospital Records’, ‘Charge Recordings’ as well as his own imprint ‘720 Degrees’ ..
Blame’s latest release ‘Because of You’ feat. Selah is currently getting massive airplay on Radio 1 and 1xtra. So as you can imagine we are very excited about having him down to play on the night and we hope to see you down the front on May the 24th!

“Always ace to see brand new labels kicking off as they mean to go on! UK based Narukami drop their first smash by label manager Seizmic and boy what a stormer. Pumping jump up drum and bass that bobs and weaves like a champ with some live sounding percussion and great vocals. Kinda like Technique meets Viper. Styling.” (Track it Down, Featured Track, October 2008)
“Someone is making an impression this week! Another killer cut from new breed producer Seizmic on his own Narukami label. This sounds like classic jump up drum and bass covering all angles and edges nicely. Big rolling basslines and larger than life production will slay any system. Support the next generation!” (Track it Down, Featured Track, October 2008)
